EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or Health Administration or relevant health care discipline.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ recent, related analysis and planning experience in a large, complex service organization or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Superior ability to develop trusting, authentic, and high-functioning relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and step into challenges courageously.
  • Systems thinking skills to identify and analyze issues, and design and develop solutions to resolve challenges.
  • Able to work effectively independently, and yet also convene and collaborates as appropriate to the situation; able to discern when to reach out for support, input and direction.
  • Results-oriented, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills to function within a complex, diverse, and interdisciplinary environment with a specific the ability to engage and build relationships with the medical staff and senior leadership.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key internal and external partners to promote and enhance services provided with sensitivity to diversity and indigenous lens.
  • Practices the recognition, inclusion and support of all types and aspects of diversity at all stages of engagement, with an understanding of the issues faced by people from equity-deserving groups.

  • Strong verbal and written communication as well as facilitation skills to work effectively in a team setting to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and reach desired outcomes.
  • Maintains a broad knowledge of patient care delivery systems in primary, acute and community settings.
  • Ability to function at the highest level of project coordination.
  • Familiar with project management tools and able to convene groups.
  • Aptitude with current advanced digital tools, visual tools, and spreadsheet applications to prepare reports and presentations as well as design, maintain and automate documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and developing professionally.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
