Description:

This manager-level professional position heads up the high performing Flood Restoration Section, and is responsible for managing the planning, delivery and funding of Council’s $390M flood restoration program.
We’re looking for a leader with exceptional project management, procurement/contract management and design/construction management experience, who is able to deliver a repair program encompassing road, drainage, water, wastewater, building and open space infrastructure. You’ll be a motivated forward thinker, dedicated to driving improvements and value for money for the organisation; with the ability to instil that approach within your team.

  • Project management resourcing and expertise
  • Procurement and Contract management resourcing and expertise
  • Engineering design and construction expertise
  • Management and coordination of a range of restoration funding
  • On-call emergency resourcing and Disaster response expertise
