SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
• Must have a minimum of 20 years of experience including 8 years in the UAE and Abu Dhabi in a similar position including high-value and complex projects with expert knowledge leading and delivering multi-billion projects within the project management industry.
• Exceptional Leadership Skills, possessing a collaborative management style, and ability to work in a multi-discipline team format.
• Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work-related issues.
• Strong Management and communication skills.

• Leading the Management team and completing the project within the budgeted schedule and cost.
• Managing technical and financial operations.
• Overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day management of the construction project; monitoring and coordinating work performed by architectural, engineering, and construction departments.
• Minimizing exposure to claims and taking necessary actions to avoid litigation and disputes.
• Leading the Project Management team in assessing variations and claims.
• Managing project risks and implementing a risk mitigation plan.
• Keeping the Client updated regarding Project Progress and other areas of concern.
• Establishing and maintaining project-specific procedures to manage the project.
• Preparing weekly, monthly progress and occasionally special reports.
• Providing a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities of PM staff.
• Attend coordination meetings, progress meetings as well as Executive meetings.
• Monitor performance and take necessary measures to ensure the successful completion of the project. Ensure achieving the Key Performance Indicators and Client contractual requirements.
• Advise the Client on any potential risks, claims, delays and cost overruns.
• Review weekly and monthly reports prepared by the Design/Supervision Consultant(s) and Contractor.
• Ensures compliance with relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within the business.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
