Project Drafter

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Engineering Technology or Equivalent Certification : Hold a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering technology, or possess an equivalent certification (e.g., NTC certificate) demonstrating proficiency in relevant areas.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Drafting Software : Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software for mechanical or electrical drafting, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings efficiently.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) : Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) principles and experience using Revit software for BIM projects.
• BIM (Revit) Modeling Certification : Preferably hold a certification in BIM (Revit) modeling, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Revit software and BIM workflows.
• Construction/ACMV Industry Experience : Previous experience in the construction industry, particularly in mechanical or electrical systems, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations : Understanding of building codes and regulations related to mechanical or electrical systems in construction projects is advantageous.
• Team Player with Strong Communication Skills : Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, with strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.

• Produce Precise As-Built Project Drawings : Utilize AutoCAD/Revit software to create accurate as-built project drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.
• Analyze and Interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings : Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to integrate mechanical or electrical components seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Create Detailed Shop Drawings : Develop detailed shop drawings to support project requirements, incorporating mechanical or electrical systems with precision and clarity.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers and Managers : Work closely with design engineers and project managers to understand project goals, provide drafting support, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
• Assist in Project Documentation Preparation : Support in the preparation and submission of project documentation to regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct Site Visits : Be detail-oriented and willing to conduct site visits if required, to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in drafting work.
