Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Project ECHO team at Penn State College of Medicine seeks a Research Assistant for to provide their expertise regarding substance use disorder for several projects. The primary responsibility is providing direct project support, including but not limited to creating lectures and curriculum and providing insight on resources for SUD.
Penn State Project ECHO’s mission is to improve health outcomes and access to care within and beyond Pennsylvania. This position will work under direct supervision of the Director of Programs and Outreach for Project ECHO. Qualified candidates will produce high-quality work, communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and participate in and support team decisions and responsibilities. Experience as a licensed social worker working with patients with substance use disorder is required.
This position will be hybrid (remote and in-office at Penn State College of Medicine).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of human subjects or translational research experience at the Penn State College of Medicine or Penn State University.
