JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Develop new clients and maintain existing clients and projects in Singapore.
• Communicate with customers and discuss/negotiate over price and delivery date.
• Prepare technical documentation for products and projects.
• Liaise with engineers, professional and technical Personnel.
• Develop and apply product knowledge to make recommendations for customers’ needs
• Follow up and managing client’s relationship
• Provide effective sales advices, information and presentation on company products and services to clients
• Providing and maintaining excellence customer service by identifying and addressing to the issues timely
• Developing weekly sales progress report and gathering field reports
• Work closely with the project team to ensure specifications are met.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Electonics/Mechatronics /Mechanical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Possess communication skills and good team player.
• Positive working attitude, pro-active, independent, willing to learn and responsible.
• Business-level English skills to conduct effective sales outreach to customers.
• Flexibility to absorb new knowledge, positive attitude towards challenging tasks and the ability to think logically to solve problems.
• Maintaining good relationship with new/existing clientele
• General knowledge of electrical/ electronics, semiconductor and IoT.
• Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, electronics schematic diagrams / wiring diagrams.

1) The Engineer proves ability to manage multiple projects and organise themselves to meet all assigned deadlines.
2) The Engineer takes full ownership of their design and the projects that they are involved in.
3) The Engineer constantly seeks ways of improving the efficiency of their work and of their team.
4) The Engineer proves ability to clearly communicate to their clients and project teams.
5) The Engineer shows great involvement in team work and promote consultation and collaboration with their team fellows.
6) The Engineer shows interest and seeks ways of developing their knowledge in other engineering disciplines.
7) All agreed deadlines are achieved on time.
8) When constraints occur which may cause the project to overrun key deadlines a plan of action is developed to ensure that this problem is overcome.
9) The activities of all personnel involved in the project are co-ordinated so as to ensure the efficient implementation of the project.
10) The Engineer prepares an up to date progress statement of all current Projects under their control for Project Review meetings with the Team Manager.
