SKILLS:

  • A strong background in Building Automation Systems and their overall design intent.
  • Be able to understand and interpret the design intent around qualified specification and drawings.
  • General understanding/basic principles of IT networks.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio. BIM and AutoCAD skills would be an advantage to the applicant.
  • Standardizing of the deliverables including software, points list, documentation etc.
  • Setting up and maintaining a standard library of the above.
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our SA Systems team for which you will report to and work alongside the Project Management Team.

DUTIES:

  • BMS engineering and design (systems/points schedules, functional descriptions, drawings etc).
  • Liaising with IEC (JCI Global Engineering Centre) for the delivery of remote engineering.
  • Coordination of localised engineering resources including working with the Victorian Engineering Team.
  • Coordination and support of on-site commissioning resources.
  • Coordination of installation subcontractors.
  • Coordination of final witness testing/hand over of building automation systems for commercial and retail properties.
