We are currently hiring a Project Engineer, Component Engineering who works across the Enterprise to help design and develop component engineering capabilities, processes, and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost, and schedule requirements at all phases of the component lifecycle. This is a Remote position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical engineering.
- 5 years or more Project Management Experience.
- 3 years of experience in Manufacturing.
- 3 years of experience in product, industrial or component engineering in commercial or industrial equipment is preferred.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with global teams.
- Strong Project Management leadership and process acumen.
- Advanced written and verbal communications – clear, concise language which resonates positively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experienced using problem solving processes through to resolution.
- Self-sufficient with strong ability to work through ambiguity.
- Cultural sensitivity and Results driven.
- Travel < 10%
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, reliable, and comprehensive processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of component lifecycle management; meeting or exceeding annual objectives.
- Collaborating with all business functions to help execute component engineering strategies and initiatives at the Enterprise level and within business units.
- Participate as an integral part of new product introductions and product enhancement programs using advanced component engineering techniques.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to component engineering processes and/or systems.
- Connect with various functional team members to collaboratively advance the mission of component engineering while also enhancing component engineering capability and adoption of best practices.
