Description:

Join our exclusive client, a global leader in food manufacturing as their Lead Project Engineer.
Job Type: 2 year contract
Location: Sterling Rd., Toronto ON

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project specifications and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Lead equipment FATs, guiding plant personnel from concept to production phase.
  • Champion safety and ergonomic standards in equipment and layouts, collaborating closely with EHS.
  • Oversee day-to-day project activities, holding vendors and contractors accountable to commitments and safety practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of Project Engineering experience, with preference given to those in Food Processing or Pharmaceutical industries.
  • Technical Skills and knowledge of industrial services equipment – Ammonia refrigeration plant, Air handling unit, Heat pumps etc.
  • Experience with equipment installation and piping design.
  • Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
