Bringing together our global network of material manufacturers, technology providers and tier suppliers enables the resource efficient and cost-effective implementation of new and emerging technologies.

Tasks

  • Planning, support and implementation of development projects from the concept phase to series application in the areas of Design for Recycling, Design for Sustainability, Design for Circularity
  • Implementation of sustainability assessments (like LCA or PCF) over several product life cycles to derive strategies in product and sustainability roadmap development
  • Global material and technology scouting
  • Close cooperation and coordination with internal and external project teams, technology partners, institutes and suppliers worldwide
  • Sustainability consulting and implementation of sustainable business transformations
  • Presentation of the project results in the project team and at customer presentations

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree programs (Dipl.-Ing., M. Sc., M. Eng.) in mechanical- or industrial engineering specializing in product development, plastics technology, sustainable resource management, vehicle design, aerospace or a comparable qualification.
  • Industrial experience in the areas of life cycle assessment (LCA), vehicle and/ or plastics technology is an advantage
  • Excellent material know-how and its application in product development
  • Goal- and solution-oriented with strong communication skills and know how to motivate your project team
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Flexibility, willingness to travel and interested in international projects
  • Experienced and comfortable with presenting to groups both at an introductory as well as deep dive technical expert level
