Project Engineer Internship - Summer

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a summer internship position where the intern will have the opportunity to be directly involved in an engineering project. The focus of the project will be to research and evaluate the impact of qualifying and maintaining the clean utilities available at the abec facility. These utilities include clean steam and clean air.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (Level 7 or 8) in Mechanical Engineering
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

O Participate in project and engineering meetings as required
O Investigating industry standards and methods for testing clean utilities
O Defining clean utility standards to be measured at the point of use
O Developing a QA process to monitor and maintain qualified utilities
O Define training requirements for implementing such a process
O Define the safety and functional impacts
O Calculate initial costs and ongoing maintenance costs for implementing this project
