Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Landscape, Construction, or relevant educationBachelor’s Degree preferred

    • Construction Management, Landscape Architecture or equivalent

    • Experience in Landscape construction preferred
    • Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
    • Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn
    • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing (English and Spanish)
    • Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft suite of applications
    • Basic understanding of scheduling programs, desired.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
    • Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Procore is a plus.
    • Must have a strong work ethic and good communication skills.
    • Experience working for a Landscape contractor is helpful.
      $55,000 - $65,000 annually

    Responsibilities:

    • Support Project Manager in planning, scheduling, supervising and coordinating landscaping projects
    • Reviewing Submittals & Take offs
    • Creation of change orders with supervision from PM.
    • Working with Project Manager to ensure the labor needs are being met.
    • Monthly completion of subcontracts and compliance forms
    • Reviewing project budgets and observing budgetary guidelines to ensure reasonableness of estimates and prudent use of resources in conjunction with Project Manager.
    • Running weekly labor reports on projects to verify budget vs actual (hours and dollars)
    • Working closely with clients, vendors, and sub-contractors in regard to project coordination.
    • Preparing RFIs, client letters and documentation at the direction of the Project Manager.
    • Working with the field team to ensure services are delivered according to schedule and contract specifications, on budget with a high standard of quality.
    • Documentation control - submittals, Change Orders, soil samples, T & M tickets, and close out documents.
    • Daily check ins with the field crews.
    • Handling Yard Assistant/Driver Schedule
    • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities in relation to office assistance (assisting walk ins, front office duties, onboarding, safety training)
