Our Eastern Region, based in Murarrie are expanding their team and are seeking a full-time Project Engineer to provide technical support to and coordination of internal engineering teams, construction teams and clients.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

2+ years’ Project Engineer experience, leading technical teams.
Strong project management fundamentals.
Strong technical experience on complex electrical projects.
Sound project finance and commercial understanding.
Ability to work within budgets and schedules.
Proficient in planning and executing complex EPC Projects.
Skilled in resolving technical issues and leading teams effectively.
Experienced in estimating/variation management.
Ensure project deliverables meet technical standards.
Good understanding of HSE requirements, Quality Systems, and legislation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering
Member of Engineers Australia
Leadership Training (can be developed internally)
Finance Training (can be developed internally)

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project QA/QC documentation and standards.
Manage project technical deliverables.
Ensure project execution aligns with scope and specifications.
Plan, organise, and direct project completion.
Coordinate with teams to meet project goals.
Verify design outputs and participate in design reviews.
Manage change process and adherence to engineering standards.
Maintain communication with stakeholders and accurate documentation.
Identify and resolve technical issues and project interfaces.
Ensure construction meets standards and manage risks.
Lead project quality, budget, and schedule.
Provide detailed project reporting and support.
Comply with HSE and Quality policies.
Evaluate and approve project expenses.
Plan project resources.
