We are looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience to work out of our Madison office. You would work on a variety of projects, depending on client needs, with the goal to eventually design and manage projects from start to finish through design and/or construction.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Design transportation, storm water management, green infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water main and other municipal infrastructure projects
  • Interact with technicians, engineers, project managers, municipal officials, contractors and the public regarding project related design and construction elements
  • Prepare project-related permit applications at the Federal, State and local levels
  • Build positive and productive relationships with coworkers and clients
  • Depending on your experience, interest and workload, there may be opportunities to work on site development, agricultural and/or natural resources projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

  • Enjoys working in the municipal engineering field and enjoys working with other professionals in a collaborative team-focused environment
  • Be self-sufficient with the ability to meet deadlines and lead project components
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or a related degree)
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D basic knowledge (preferred but not required)
  • Have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients and contractors
