Due to our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to be based at the company’s Project Site in Kwinana Western Australia.
Reporting to the Site Project Manager your role will be to coordinate subcontractors, materials and equipment to ensure the delivery of the project in accordance with safe work procedures and in line with their quality plans and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordination of the project in accordance with the directions in the project execution plan.
  • Coordinate subcontractors engaged on each project and ensure they are delivering their work in accordance with their safe work procedures and in line with their quality plans.
  • Coordination and ordering of materials and equipment for site including validating the receipt of materials in the field.
  • Work with the Construction Supervisors to resolve site technical, scheduling and safety problems.
  • Complete ITPs, weld maps and any other quality records with assistance from the construction supervisor.
  • Conduct safety observations and site safety audits and ensure they are uploaded to the MyOSH system weekly.
  • Ensure all drawings are maintained onsite and the correct revision is provided to the site team.
  • Advise field staff with reading and understanding the construction drawings.
  • Liaise with drawing & engineering office to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure all field staff are supplied with the correct tools and equipment to ensure the productive and safe execution of the works.
  • Review method statement and ensure any changes required are approved by engineering department before execution.
  • Ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the company procedures in how to manage a safety incident onsite.
  • Leadership of safe behaviours and work practices on each project the PE is stationed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive site diary for each project.
  • Work with the Project Manager in managing the day to day site management and administration.
  • To coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment and subcontracting services required on the project.
  • Co-ordination of the project in accordance with the directions in the project execution plan.
