PROJECT ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold a Post-Secondary Degree in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of three years of machine shop experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Demonstrate understanding of electrical and electronic schematic diagrams, blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Exhibit knowledge of SPC methods, process and machine capability requirements, and lot control techniques.
• Familiarity with LPS and LPS tools (e.g., value stream mapping), TS 16949, and related procedures.

• Specify special tools and fixtures as needed for projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead customer-focused teams to ensure satisfaction and success.
• Estimate cycle times and costs for each process operation.
• Set and monitor production targets and goals.
