Jacobs offer a full range of Energy & Power Project services for utility scale power generation projects. Our scope of services is a mix of engineering consultancy including concept design, pre-feasibility and feasibility, design review, site investigations, techno-economic advisory services, and technical due diligence, construction management and owner’s engineering services.
Here’s what you’ll need:

As a Project Engineer with a focus on Wind (on and offshore) in Jacobs Energy & Power group, you will provide consultancy and engineering services in the APAC region. Based in Brisbane, you will support multi disciplinary project teams in a technical capacity, in addition to supporting the Engineering Manager, Project Manager and clients with engineering input. We are seeking someone with a relevant tertiary qualification in either Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural or Renewable Engineering, with experience in wind projects planning and execution, interested in the opportunity to:

• Conduct feasibility studies for wind farms.
• Prepare Frontend Engineering Designs for wind farms.
• Conduct site visits and engage in site work for pre agreed periods as needed.
• Support the design review process for wind power projects, and other renewable energy generation technologies such as Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage.
• Coordinate design review teams and collaborate closely with site teams.
• Collaborate with Management and Project Managers to prepare and submit bids for projects.
• Engage with clients in the Energy & Power sector, attending client meetings to build and maintain valuable relationships.
• Have the potential to independently manage smaller to mid-size projects, demonstrating your leadership skills.
