Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer student for the 2024 Fall Semester to work in our St. John’s office. This individual will be eager to learn, highly motivated, and have excellent attention to detail. Supporting the team of Project Engineers with the following,

  • Planning
  • Cost
  • Materials & fabrication monitoring
  • Project Change Notices (PCN’s)
  • Variation Order’s (VO’s)
  • Project Execution Plans (PEP’s)
  • Writing reports and taking meeting minutes
  • Filling documents
  • Sending out meeting invites

As well as other additional administrative and research tasks

  • Currently enrolled in a University Engineering co-op program
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills
  • Excellent technical writing skill
  • Offshore and Oil and Gas knowledge is preferred
  • Team focused attitude with a commitment to quality
  • Innovative problem solving mindset
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
