Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successful completion of a 3-year Diploma in Health, Business, Architectural or Engineering Technology or as acceptable by the hospital
  • Project Management Certificate, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED AP) preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years recent, project related experience preferably in a health care setting
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient planning and evaluation skills
  • Proficient facilitation skills including consensus building and problem solving
  • Demonstrated proficient project management, resource planning and performance measurement skills
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated change management, financial management and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of local and regional health care system
  • Demonstrated proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships
  • Proficient ability to problem solve and make decisions
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
  • Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC’s Vision, Purpose, and Values
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

Before beginning employment at LHSC, all new hires will be required to:

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis;
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
  • Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
