JOB SUMMARY:

• Job title: Assistant Manager (Research Finance Administration)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of SAP financial and project systems would be an advantage.
• Be meticulous, and resourceful with a positive work attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Mature and possess good interpersonal skills.

• Review set-up of research project accounts for compliance with reporting and grant terms & conditions
• Review maintenance of project accounts is in line with project variations
• Review journal entries
• Provide financial advice and support to operating units
• Monitor research project accounts to ensure timely closure
• Liaise with auditors for timely certification of fund requisitions
• Support in other finance functions as and when required by the team
