We are now seeking a Project Geologist to join our Exploration team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Senior Exploration Geologist.
This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintaining a high standard of safety by complying with all relevant safety instructions, procedures and rules and the duty of care for employees as legislated
• Building and maintaining constructive relationships with AGAA staff and contractors
• High quality geological reviews across the deposit to generate new exploration targets
• Champion of department research and development projects
• Assisting Senior Project Geologist with lithology and structural updates and surface tenement compliance
• Mentoring of the Graduate and Exploration Geologists
• Assisting the team with delivering high quality geological logging of diamond drill core
• Design and review of teams drill programs
• Assisting seniors in management of short - medium term drill schedule
• Interpretation and reporting of geological and geochemical results
• Monitoring performance to plan of targets
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Process and procedure improvements and updates
