Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Integration Specialist supports the Project Management Office (PMO) with a range of tracking, coordinating, and documenting activities across the program management lifecycle.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Integration Specialist is responsible for the development and updating of Annual Operation Plan (AOP) inputs and the integration required between the five (5) work elements of the PWS (Program Management, Engineering Support, Maintenance Support, Materiel Support, Technical Information Support) along with the planning, execution and change control processes.

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Engineering, Accounting or related degree
  • PMP Certification an asset

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years’ experience in the aviation industry with an understanding of aircraft vernacular and a familiarity with aircraft and the related materials
  • AME with 5+ years in an MRO environment (heavy maintenance) considered an asset
  • Project management background an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring and collection of data related to the status of costs to date and estimates to complete each modification as per contract. This would include the following areas:
  • Budget allocation
  • Performance monitoring
  • Cost forecasting
  • Provides direct support to the PMO and Finance teams on the planning and implementation of each modification
  • Liaises with Engineering, Materiel and Production teams
  • Facilitates and conducts cost breakdown and forecasting sheet to meet customer deliverables & specifications
  • Coordinates the preparation, delivery, review and acceptance of the deliverables that relate to each LCF, which would include:
  • Initiating and managing working groups
  • Preparing the LCF document and corelating inputs
  • Communicating status of deliverables
  • Tracking the workflow of the deliverables between the five elements and the customer
  • Other duties as required.
