Job Description
Sanden International (Europe) GmbH is looking for a Project Leader for AC/TMS (f/m/d) in Bad Nauheim, Germany (full-time). Within our Project Management department (PMG), you will lead ambitious and innovative projects for OEMs with the goal of obtaining nomination.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • At least 3 preferably 5 years of experience as an Engineer working on Air Conditioning (AC), thermal management (TMS) or climate control systems within the automotive industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Ensure project milestones are respected, deliverables meet requested quality and match customers expectation by collaborating with team members from Engineering, Quality and Purchasing
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking product cost evolution during the project
  • Establish and continuously monitor project timing and milestones in alignment with customer program timing and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, implementing corrective actions as needed to meet project objectives
  • Report project statuses to line managers and upper management, promptly reporting issues and proposing action plans in collaboration with the team
  • Act as an early warning instance for internal and external time-to-market discrepancies, proactively addressing potential issues
  • Initiate and facilitate weekly project review meetings as the core team leader, engaging cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
  • Coordinate safe launch and risk management processes and activities to mitigate project risks
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project progress and status meetings

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure compliance with production part approval processes and coordinate market introduction activities
  • Support Account/Product Managers with financial justifications, business cases, and customer meetings related to thermal systems projects
  • Handle customer-related project topics, including presentations, sample timing, and technical documentation
