Description:
ArcelorMittal has a firm commitment to reach carbon neutrality by 2050; The use of scrap steel is one of the levers to lower CO2 emissions from steelmaking, with this purpose, BD Recycling has been created in 2022 as a new division. Our strategy is to guarantee opportunities in the scrap market to both establish ArcelorMittal as an important player in the metal recycling space while securing access to the required volumes of scrap underpinning our decarbonization strategy.
As brand of ArcelorMittal, Riwald Recycling is a leading company in the field of metal recycling and environmental services. To support our continuous growth and optimize our business processes, we are planning to introduce a standardized ERP system. We are looking for an experienced project manager (m/f/d) to successfully accompany this challenging and exciting project from planning to implementation.
The position is reporting to the CEO BD Recycling (Project Sponsor) and can be located in Germany, Luxemburg, France or Netherlands with regular travelling to the locations & businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the planning, management and implementation of the ERP implementation project
- Development and monitoring of project plans, budgets and schedules
- Coordination and management of the project team and external service providers
- Analyzing and defining requirements in collaboration with the specialist departments
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and project milestones
- Identifying and managing project risks and changes
- Communicating to relevant stakeholders and reporting to management & steering committee
- Organizing training courses and workshops for users
Qualifications:
- You are proactive, innovative, curious, and bold. You are willing to understand, challenge and support our business needs
- You have significant professional experience in leading ERP projects of international scope, ideally in a medium-sized company
- You have a (Master’s) Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or a related field
- Knowledge of recycling industry practices and experience in waste management, knowledge of metal recycling ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, goal-orientated way of working
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- High level of commitment, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
- Experience in change management and in working with different areas of the company
- excellent communication skills in English & German, French a plus
- High level of organization and detail-orientation
