JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Project Management Analyst
Department: Technical
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent
Minimum years of Experience: 5

Responsibilities

  • Provide both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks and issues to project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Effective monitoring and tracking of Connectivity, Colocation, Cloud and managed services projects and other assigned projects.
  • Follow up with technology stakeholders to ensure projects are completed.
  • Identify and monitor critical dependencies between projects and ensure proper alignment of all projects.
  • Update project dashboard, escalating issues and identifying critical success factors for each project.
  • Responsible for preparing project plans, holding kick-off meetings before executing the projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and 3rd party/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to implement project scope and delivering client focused results on time and within scope.
  • Engaging and managing third party vendors for the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Weekly reports showing the completed projects, reasons for project delays and KPI achieved.
  • Responsible for the proper documentation of activities in line with PMO processes.
  • Anticipate issues and drive closure, resolution of issues impacting the timely delivery of project.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

  • B.Sc./B.Tech/HND in Engineering, Project Management or any other related field.
  • 4-6 years’ experience in Project Management / PMO function with Project Management Certification e.g. (PMP, Prince2 or equivalents) and with active experience in PMO role including project documents management and administration.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work and deal with complex situations.
  • Self-management & teamwork skills.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience Monitoring projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.

Demands of the Job

  • Daily/active co-ordination and tracking of assigned projects and deliverables.
