Description:

Position Summary
This role has the overall responsibility to manage the PMO functions. You will oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of all projects within SENZ.
.
You will be responsible for the strategic vision and blueprint development; benefits and quality management; stakeholder management; portfolio management; program, tranche and project planning including milestone management; and risk and issue management.
.
Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management; maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs; resource forecasting; dependency management; and program reporting.
.
Operationally, the PMO Lead provides and enables project prioritization, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, decision making, and recruitment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Create and ensure the successful implementation of the PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables
  • Work closely with RHQ on project deliverables
  • Manage program reporting and prepare regular status reporting
  • Establish frameworks and standards for Program and Project Management. Manage and compile Program related financial and KPI information
  • Oversee project costs and ensure finances are well managed
  • Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across the Program planned
  • Track financial reporting whilst ensuring that the program and projects adhere to the agreed budget
  • Ensure cross-program dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained
  • Build cohesion within the team and motivate team to produce quality work
  • Define and embed project control and governance
  • Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio
  • Ensure budgets are managed according to divisional requirements

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Communicate regularly and closely with HQ, Head of Departments and Business Managers regarding information related to products as required to ensure effective and timely support
  • Close partnership with RHQ to leverage portfolio learnings across countries
  • Closely work with Samsung’s distributors to enable achievement of targets
  • Works closely with corporate marketing functions (Digital, Social, PR, .com) to ensure division strategy and plans are effectively implemented and reviewed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree qualified preferable
  • 8 or more years Product, Online, Sales or Marketing Management experience preferably in a telecommunications or FMCG environment
  • Inspirational team management and leadership
  • Sales and Financial management of significant sized business
  • Strong planning, organisational and management skills
  • Strong senior stakeholder communication and influencing skills
  • Portfolio management of significant sized business
