REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in related field.
- 5 + years of experience in Project Management.
- Formal Project Management training completed (i.e. courses, certification, education).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is preferred.
- Knowledge of PMBOK principles and approach.
- Project Management experience in an Aerospace related environment is considered an asset.
- Proficient computer skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS SharePoint, & MS Project.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Understanding of aircraft maintenance planning.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning portion of aviation projects new to KFA; projects to be handed over to the Maintenance Department for Project Execution.
- Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, industry standards, company policies, and professional best practices.
- Provide consistent updates of ongoing projects to PM Lead.
- Track and report project status relative to the approved activities.
- Conduct qualitative risk management of projects.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Analyze processes and strategies within PM Framework to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies.
- Trend monitor ongoing maintenance projects to track compliance to procedures, identify training opportunities, and develop case studies.
- Monitor and analyze Post Project Review (PPR) forms to identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and report monthly on findings.
- Coordinate with Information Systems Department to continually update data collection and reporting systems/dashboards.
- Work with various departments to refine and improve procedures identified in the Project Management Manual.
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite as regular interaction with maintenance staff is essential.
- Other tasks as required by the Project Management Lead.
