Our client is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager for their leading dairy manufacturing plant. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or substantial manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Proven experience managing capital engineering projects within a manufacturing environment, within the dairy, liquid foods/beverages, pharmaceutical or fresh produce industries.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources effectively, and drive results.
  • Demonstrated experience in install, commissioning, and execution phases of projects, ensuring seamless project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in contractor management, including the selection, coordination, and oversight of external vendors, contractors, and consultants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to dairy manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and safety to identify project requirements and goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly communicates progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and consultants as needed to support project execution.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
