SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant building or construction qualifications.
  • Experience gained at Project Manager level in the delivery of residential construction projects such as new estates, townhouses, multi residential, units or apartments.
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering project from tender stage through to construction completion and handover.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE SENIOR PROJECT ROLE

  • The Senior Project Manager will report into the Operations Manager and will oversee a team of 3 to 4 Project Managers.
  • As the Senior Project Manager, you will be the main point of contact for new project enquiries and will liaise directly with clients.
  • You’ll be required to manage the tender process through the cost planning team and once a awarded, manage the construction delivery from start to finish with the construction division.
  • The Senior Project Manager role will offer a basic salary between $170,000 and $200,000 plus super.

DUTIES

  • Manage projects from start to completion.
  • Prepare tender documents.
  • Implement detailed project planning and control measures.
  • Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality-assured project delivery through monitoring project progress and performance.
  • Mitigate project risks and formulate contingency plans
  • Coordinate subcontractors’ activities and allocate project resources.
  • Liaise with clients, providing regular status and progress reports.
