SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant building or construction qualifications.
- Experience gained at Project Manager level in the delivery of residential construction projects such as new estates, townhouses, multi residential, units or apartments.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering project from tender stage through to construction completion and handover.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE SENIOR PROJECT ROLE
- The Senior Project Manager will report into the Operations Manager and will oversee a team of 3 to 4 Project Managers.
- As the Senior Project Manager, you will be the main point of contact for new project enquiries and will liaise directly with clients.
- You’ll be required to manage the tender process through the cost planning team and once a awarded, manage the construction delivery from start to finish with the construction division.
- The Senior Project Manager role will offer a basic salary between $170,000 and $200,000 plus super.
DUTIES
- Manage projects from start to completion.
- Prepare tender documents.
- Implement detailed project planning and control measures.
- Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality-assured project delivery through monitoring project progress and performance.
- Mitigate project risks and formulate contingency plans
- Coordinate subcontractors’ activities and allocate project resources.
- Liaise with clients, providing regular status and progress reports.
