REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant trade qualification, degree or higher education
- Minimum of 3-5+ years as a Project Manager within construction, fitout and refurbishment
- Strong client facing ability
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with others
- Competent user of Procore or similar software
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As the successful Project Manager, you will lead the way in taking control of the full project life cycle from start to finish consisting of early works, structures and finishes. You will be required to coordinate your team in ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for health and safety on site and will work closely with the client to ensure excellent standards of working practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Project Planning: Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Developing comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and budgets.
- Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of skilled professionals, including architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensuring clear communication channels and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Quality Control: Implementing strict quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the highest standards are met. Conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Budget Management: Monitoring project finances, tracking expenditures, and managing cost-control strategies to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans to avoid any project delays or budget overruns.
- Client Relations: Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing regular project updates. Addressing any concerns or changes efficiently and professionally.
- Compliance: Ensuring all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
