The Project Manager (PM) is a dual-hatted member of a multi-functional team providing technical support services to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center Logistics Center (MMACLC) in Oklahoma City, OK. The PM’s technical, operational, and functional tasks spectrum includes management and coordination of contract performance, and providing technical guidance and supervision of employees. The PM’s additional project management tasks spectrum includes all on-site contract and project control and management tasks. PM standard individual administrative tasks including individual employee time, timesheet, leave, and training completion; employee performance management; employee compliance with customer organization and company standards; performing other tasks as assigned and demonstrating proficiency, accuracy and attention to detail in assigned duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Associate’s Degree or its equivalent in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical fields. Other direct related fields may be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a technical staff including technicians and engineering personnel.
  • Experienced using Microsoft Suite
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust/NACI.
  • High level of problem solving skills and the ability to recommend and implement alternative set-up and/or operations for complex systems.
  • Detail-oriented and possesses the ability to handle and accomplish multiple tasks.
  • Ability to provide incident and after action reports and analysis.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional presence. Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to read, speak and effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Solid work ethic.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures and operations.

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works under the functional/operational supervision of the Sr Program Manager.
  • Performs as Central Point of Contact for the FAA’s Contracting Officer (COO)/Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
  • Develops and maintains program management plans including the Staffing Plan, Quality Control Plan, Transition-In Plan, and Transition-Out Plan.
  • Manages the program for the company.
  • Maintains the appropriate staffing level required by the Government.
  • Provides day-to-day supervision for company employees.
  • Notifies Government point of contact not later than 30 minutes after shift begins when company employees are not going to report.
  • Coordinates with COR on any Compensatory or Overtime requirements.
  • Resolves discipline problems with employees.
  • Executes recruiting and staffing to fill staffing open positions.
  • Directs and manages the FAA Technical Support Services Project Team Staff; is responsible for all on-site contract and project, service and products delivery (including Deliverables), human resources (including recruiting, selection, hiring, onboarding, performance, human capital sustainment), procurement, training, fleet, financial, project control, timekeeping, travel, expense, reporting, and administrative management.
  • Provides on-site support primarily during standard business hours and/or contractually mandated core hours from 0600-1800 hours, Monday through Friday; provides occasional personnel support outside of core business hours.
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr Program Manager.
