Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and leading project teams (both from within AT and externally) for typical projects to enable the successful delivery of AT business objectives and optimise time, cost and quality project performance outcomes.
  • Leading and monitoring project teams in applying the project management principles, processes, procedures and reporting requirements outlined in the AT Enterprise Project Management Framework and providing expert advice on legislation, regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Ensuring project strategies, plans and activities incorporate the safety philosophy of Vision Zero and overall organisational and workplace safety.
  • Leading input into internal and external reporting and requirements and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in relation to all required reporting.
  • Leading complex tender processes, implementing procurement strategies and effective governance arrangements to monitor provider, supplier and contractor performance.
  • Frequent liaison with contractors and consultants which will often require travel between our head office and our active construction sites.
  • Communicating effectively with key project stakeholders to build trust and persuade and influence project outcomes, including presenting at public meetings, and running in-person or virtual meetings with our internal and external clients.
