The Bureau is the coordinating partner, in bringing together experts from CSIRO, the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Geoscience Australia to provide a new national service which will work with customers to provide data and intelligence to support each phase of a national disaster continuum.
As a key stakeholder, the Research Program requires a Project Manager who will work with considerable autonomy, accountability and provides specialist project management expertise and capability, aligned to the project management framework. The role will be accountable for delivering work packages, solutions and managing key activities through every stage of the framework e.g. from inception through to transiting into production. Adherence to the Bureau Delivery Model and corporate governance should be high on the agenda for this role. Development of effective and strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts is a key requirement for the role.
