Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Project Manager on the BBC Studios Learning Team, you will be responsible for strategically supporting the Global Director of Learning in the management and fulfilment of the Team’s pipeline of jobs. You will also be responsible for managing existing partnerships and help with the building of new relationships in the space. Candidates should work well in a team situation and need to be extremely flexible as the nature and scope of this job will change as we grow.

  • The Project Manager will act as a team lead and be the primary client relationship manager for several clients and large internal and external projects and partnerships.
  • Manage all efforts associated with the development of educational digital components including creating descriptions of the components, organizing and supervising editorial and design freelancers, preparing budgets, and setting schedules.
  • Manage the full scope of the development of partner products and ensure deadlines and budget limits are met, as well as communicating unique insights and recommendations to management as the launch process evolves.
  • Manage outside consultants throughout each of the project phases and development process.
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of content and marketing materials, secure proper rights clearances internally and oversee overall delivery to clients to ensure successful launch on partner platforms.
  • Co-manage a portion of BBC Learning’s pipeline, streamlining and organizing a large volume of agreements, managing the full extension and renewal process, and executing any rolling deliveries.
  • Help lead communication and oversight of external content development for products and associated marketing collateral.
  • Responsible for ongoing analysis of existing contracts and the BBC’s delivery against these agreements and their necessary deliverables.
  • Handle a variety of projects with competing deadlines and time demands.
