Description:
AS THE PROJECT MANAGER (IMPLEMENTATION) YOU’LL FOCUS ON…
- Project Planning – developing detailed business and technology implementation plans, schedules, and timelines. Developing, and maintaining detailed go-live checklists and contingency plans.
- Vendor Management - coordinating between vendor(s) and internal teams to ensure alignment and address concerns, ensuring that the vendor’s activities align with the project plan and organisational objectives.
- Governance– demonstrating a bias for action and influence to drive decision making that moves us forward at pace. Providing regular status updates and reports to the Program Manager and key stakeholders. Facilitating approvals and signoffs at various project stages.
- Quality Releases - coordinating with delivery teams and stakeholders to facilitate release readiness activities and resolve issues. Planning and executing the production implementation, cut over, and go-live activities. Maintaining comprehensive implementation documentation, including implementation plans, test results, and go-live records.
- Stakeholder Management – contributing to the development of clear pre and post go-live communications for internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with key stakeholders.
- Financial Management – take an enterprise view and ‘owner’s mindset’, constantly looking for opportunities to optimise spending.
- Ways of Working – an active user and champion for leveraging collaboration tools and practices and maximising automation.
- Risk Management – pro-actively identifying, managing and monitoring risks or issues.
