• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project and provide timely updates
• Deliver project on time, to budget and to other agreed criteria within corporate guidelines including the client’s requirements
• Represent company to lead projects
• Motivate and lead team in executing and completing projects successfully with management’s desired end-result
• Execute project innovatively with better methodologies in time and cost management
• Responsible for all site matters
• Ensure compliance with all governmental and building regulations
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the Client, designers, subcontractors, building officials, local businesses, and authorities.
• To drive an un-compromising culture of safety and quality throughout the project workforce and lead by example.
• Work with the Project Director to develop the project execution strategy and provide leadership and guidance to the project team in delivering the project in accordance with the execution strategy.
• Building, Engineering Civil, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Typically, incumbents require a relevant Occupational Health and Safety certification.
• Minimum 10 years – 15 years of experience in a site engineering or project engineering role with a building contractor.
• Ensure the progress of works is on schedule.
• Enforce all safety regulations on site to ensure works are performed safely.
• Enforce and manage the permit to work system at site(s).
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with requirements and regulations.
• Inspect materials that are delivered on site to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Procure construction materials at the right time to ensure work is not hampered by materials shortage.
• Supervise workmen to ensure that work is performed safely and on time.
• Comply to all QA/QC procedures and implement CONQUAS standard for site works on site(s).

Qulaifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
• Working experience in Governmental projects such as HDB, LTA, JTCThe Construction Manager is responsible for leading the construction team to ensure that contract requirements are met whilst also ensuring that Company requirements for health and safety, environment, sustainability, quality, time, and profit objectives are also met.
