Responsibilities:

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Interpreting, planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.
  • Active management and liaising with site-based personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities.
  • Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
  • Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
  • Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.
  • Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
  • Assisting the Precinct Manager in preparing accurate monthly reports.
  • Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or other relevant discipline.
  • Extensive background in Building & Fitout with a minimum 10 years’ industry experience.
  • Proven experience with a top-tier or mid-tier building contractor.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and expectations.
