Our client is a national Project Management consultancy with a robust presence in Sydney. With a dedicated team of around 20 experienced Project Managers, we specialise in managing a diverse portfolio of projects including Precincts, Commercial, Aged Care, Hotels, and various types of Residential developments.
Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced mid Level Client-Side Project Manager to join our Sydney office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects across different sectors. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating autonomously, managing projects from inception to completion, and will report directly to the Project Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying complexity and scale.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- PMP, Prince2, or similar certification is desirable.
- Work-winning capability is strongly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of projects from initiation to handover, ensuring all aspects are effectively managed including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
- Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and effectively communicate project status, issues, and risks to the project team and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and ensure their satisfaction with project outcomes.
