We are partnering with a leading engineering firm, who are looking to hire Project Manager for their team. This is a permanent position that will be based in Mallow, Cork. As Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and contribute to the overall growth and success of company.Attractive Package on offer

Responsibilities (full job spec available on request):

  • Management, supervision and co-ordination of a team of foremen, engineers, safety personnel & document control and field installations
  • Prepare progress reports and technical reports for clients and for internal use
  • Co-ordination of all internal aspects of the project deliverables. This includes mechanical and electrical works, associated documentation. preparation and completion of handover documentation, testing, commissioning, and process proving documentation
  • Coordinate process mechanical services and cleanroom validation where necessary
  • Construction planning & scheduling
  • Monitor and document job site safety and accident prevention
  • Timeline planning of all installations from awarding of contract to completion and handover of all documentation
  • Management of day to day communications & documentation with civil sub-contractors including civil design co-ordination between civil designer and civil sub-contractors

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Third level mechanical, civil or electrical engineering degree/diploma or craft qualification would be an advantage
  • Candidates with experience in similar role or candidates with the ambition to develop
