JOB SUMMARY:
Stryker and Company, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Review and understand plans, blueprints, and designs to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure necessary permitting and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, site visits, and other project-related activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site at all times.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Manage project budgets and expenditures, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project superintendents and teams.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
- Experience with historical restoration projects is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing large projects with multiple superintendents and teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
