Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of electronic/software projects for Motorsport and Automotive markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong input into project tendering and estimating. · Create and monitor project plans.
  • Manage and plan project change requests.
  • Facilitate/chair project status reviews.
  • Facilitate/chair technical project meetings.
  • Identify & manage project risks and issues.
  • Communicate project status to stake holders and project portfolio board.
  • Manage key stakeholder and client relationships.
  • Manage key suppliers, including contracts and negotiations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance to both client & company procedures and specifications.
  • Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
  • Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile:

  • Ideally Degree qualified in electronics/software engineering (or equivalent), with a successful track record managing electronic/software engineering projects.
  • A formal project management qualification, such as APM/PRINCE2 is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors.
  • Experience/knowledge of the project management aspects of ASPICE.
  • Able to apply project management techniques to support both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • IT Literate and fully proficient using Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Project for planning, budgeting and reporting.
