Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of biomass boilers and carbon neutral lifestyle products, and they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in mechanical and electrical and be able to think on their feet, working on multiple tasks simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manage the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues that arise, and report on project status to management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support to clients and contractors, including troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of biomass boilers.
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports and presentations to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A relevant qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least 2 – 4 years of experience in a project management role
  • Good technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and think on your feet.
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software is preferred.
