About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
- Scope, document and deliver simple and complex projects using appropriate project management methodologies.
- Promote and apply appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered using new thinking where relevant and data-driven solutions.
- Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Undertake research and analysis to support the delivery and reporting of business outcomes and the identification of information gaps.
- Identify, evaluate and manage planned and emerging risk including the design of risk mitigation and escalation strategies that are factored into project planning to ensure project success.
- Obtain and analyse information and data to ascertain strategies, recommendations, identify opportunities, and interpret lessons learnt.
- Prepare reports, publications, submissions, briefings and correspondence relevant to project delivery and performance.
- Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders for mutually beneficial outcomes through generating active engagement, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment by proactively suggesting ideas for continuous improvement, with the aim of achieving best practice project delivery.
- Provide strategic thinking, innovation, and process re-engineering to support the delivery of high-quality solution outcomes that leverages, adjusts, and identifies connections to other work.
