We are looking for a new team member within our platform and delivery team to manage the delivery of key initiatives in the Mobile and Multiplay area. You’ll be working in a diverse supportive group that thrives by working as a team and you’ll be using your PM and excellent stakeholder skills to deliver changes that support our business.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven delivery experience, ideally with a consulting background in Telco/Retail industry
  • Expert knowledge and experience of relevant project management methodologies, development life cycles e.g. Waterfall, Agile and Continuous Improvement.
  • Expert knowledge of financial forecasting and budget management and control
  • Experience in managing 3rd party vendors and working with outsource partners
  • Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at the appropriate level and build effective working relationships (will often need to have technical discussions with product owners to articulate design solutions or reconfirm requirements).
  • Extremely strong organisational skills in managing multiple teams (including offshore) in order to deal with issues/risks/defects/deliverables/design queries etc.
  • Willing to be flexible to meet tight deadlines. May require commitment to work beyond contracted hours to support deployments and deal with urgent issues impacting deployments.
  • Dedicated and motivated individual with drive to succeed and deliver results.
  • Must be able to hit the ground running at pace

Responsibilities:

  • Takes responsibility for the management of and successful execution of large, Tech and Transformation projects that span across multiple business units and areas totalling over £1m in cost.
  • Work in collaboration with project sponsors and key stakeholders within the business to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of project outcomes.
  • Lead complex cross-functional change into the organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project and change management
  • Own project stakeholder relationships and engage the business more broadly with project communications
  • Develop high performing project teams, with good knowledge management, who work in collaboration with the business.
  • Establish and sustain an effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across their projects
  • Co-ordinate the definition and delivery of detailed business requirements through collaboration with the business, IT and other 3rd parties
  • Take ownership for key project deliverables (such as the plan and budget) across the project lifecycle and applies appropriate methodologies to support the achievement of wider project aims and objectives
