TEN Recruitment are in partnership with a well established national constriction company. They specialise in commercial construction projects from new build / defence / education / industrial constriction across Perth.
Having recently won a new Defence projects in the Perth they are looking to add a motivated and driven Project Manager to the team to ensure projects are delivered in a smoothly and in a timely manner.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Manage and deliver projects in line with project scope, on time and within budget, not comprising quality or safety
- Ensure compliance and project contractual obligations are met
- Track project costs to ensure adherence to budget
- Regular reporting and providing feedback
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders of all levels to ensure smoothly project delivery.
- Scheduling of trades, visiting sites to ensure progress, acting as the main point of contact for clients and subcontractors
- Champion safety on site, running meetings, coaching team members and ensuring adherence to OHS&E procedures.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years experience delivering new build construction projects.
- Previous Defence project exposure.
- Full and clean NPC check for site clearance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management or related discipline
- Proven ability to plan, manage and deliver projects smoothly and in a timely manner
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, trades and office staff
- A genuine team player who is able to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to delegate
- MS Office skills and construction industry software experience
