Description:

  • Utilise your Project Management expertise to provide support and advice to the Road Safety Camera Program branch
  • A Fixed-Term, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service until 30th June 2025
  • VPS Grade 5: $106,534 - $128,897 plus superannuation.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification is desirable
  • Relevant project management experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Project Manager role supports the Senior Project Manager in delivering multiple complex projects across Road Safety.

SOME OF YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Developing and delivering artefacts and deliverables relating to delivery of major capital projects to meet Road Safety objectives, budget, and stakeholder expectations
  • Co-ordinating, reviewing, and critiquing third party deliverables during procurement and delivery and engage with third parties required for delivery and effective management of resulting project delivery
  • Modeling an inclusive, considerate, and consultative approach to change management.

About You:As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated ability in understanding camera equipment, construction, testing and hand over for enforcement processes under the Victorian Road Safety Camera Program
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of project artefacts for technical infrastructure projects, or similar environment
  • Ability to conduct site audits and make informed decisions in relation to camera system construction and signage in line with Road Safety as per specifications and policies
  • Demonstrated ability to compile briefs, work change orders and status reporting governance material for project staff and senior management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing project schedules and liaising with partners to complete project tasks
  • Demonstrated experience in presenting project proposals to key stakeholders for decision making.
