Downer Water Services North is undertaking a program of works for the DOWSP program . This is a project delivery team for water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants delivering projects across the greater-Brisbane region, from site and Bowen-Hills based offices. Due to growth and internal movement, the DOWSP program is now seeking a driven and innovative Project Manager to join the team.

THE ROLE

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the design, construction, commissioning and handover of water and wastewater infrastructure assets. Through optimising cost, quality and safety outcomes, the Project Manager ensures successful coordination and delivery of multiple, synergistic projects across the greater Brisbane region.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Collaborate with design teams to ensure appropriate delivery plan, cost efficiency and constructability.
• Foster an innovative culture in project delivery, focusing on ongoing improvements, efficiency, safety and accountability.
• Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to uphold Downer standards and adherence to operational and safety procedures and legislation.
• Prepare, maintain and report on progress against schedules. Monitor any delays and provide effective solutions to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed plans and KPI’s.
• Promote and empower individual and team capability through regular performance discussions, clear expectations, feedback and guidance.
