Responsibilities:
Reporting into the CIO and CFO, the Project Manager will take responsibility to work with the organisation and vendor to allocate resources to the project, whilst at the same time taking a truly hands-on approach.
- Lead a small Project Team with following resources available: Head of Finance, ICT Manager, the Vendor, HR and a Senior Accountant
- Manage the ERP upgrade project by balancing the scope, financial budget, timeline, accuracy, requirements and quality of the project
- Manage execution of the project plan; identifying risks and issues with the implementation project and presenting these and recommended actions to the Project Sponsor
- Testing (Documenting test cases, Integration and UAT planning, resolution of test defects)
- Manage and support the ongoing integration and optimisation of finance systems and processes
- Maintain continuous communication between all stakeholders involved to ensure project deliverables are met and the project remains on time and within budget
- Articulate the project vision to all stakeholders, encouraging performance and alignment to the project objectives
- Manage vendor communication to facilitate understanding and awareness of the organisational strategic direction, changes, challenges and operating framework
- Assist during the go-live and during the post-implementation phase
- Preparation of training materials and providing end-user training
