Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager, EV Technologies and Optimization, will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, deployment, and optimization of electric vehicle technologies. She/he will also be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and providing actionable business and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making and enhance the Company’s competitive edge.
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge of EV charging technologies
Responsibilities:
- Technology Evaluation
- Conduct rigorous and documented analysis of available EV truck and charging technologies (vehicles, chargers, software, telematics, etc.) to maximize project success.
- Make recommendations based on analysis conclusions.
- Stay up to date on available technologies on the market.
- Truck Route Electrification
- Conduct feasibility studies for route electrification to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments (Engineering, Operations, Logistics, etc.) to integrate all relevant data into the identification process.
- Develop and maintain appropriate analysis tools to continuously improve the process.
- Project Planning and Execution
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for technology implementation.
- Develop comprehensive project planning, taking into consideration requirements, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Monitor, document and report on project progress.
- Coordinate the timely delivery and deployment of technologies.
- Provide support for testing, debugging, training, and transfer to operations.
- Funding Programs
- Monitor funding and subsidy opportunities for EV charging infrastructure and electric truck projects.
- Prepare funding applications and coordinate application processes.
- Collaborate with the team to align funding applications with business needs and ensure smooth integration of funding into projects.
- Operations Optimization
- Follow-up on technology performance in cooperation with the Operations Manager to initiate optimization actions and projects.
