Description:

Pensar Construction, a recognised leader in building impactful infrastructure, seeks a high-calibre FIFO Project Manager to spearhead our regional projects. In this crucial role, you’ll provide strategic direction, manage project lifecycles, and ensure successful delivery within budget and deadlines.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee all aspects of infrastructure projects, from planning and execution to completion, across a variety of disciplines.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
  • Mitigate risks, identify and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead and motivate a team of site personnel, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

What you’ll possess:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry with a broad infrastructure background.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant engineering principles for your area of expertise (e.g., civil engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for FIFO rosters.
